Chengdu Yongling Museum

#chinatrip The Yongling tomb in Chengdu is completely preserved. The tomb is hemispherical, about 15 meters high and more than 80 meters in diameter. It is divided into three rooms: front, middle and back. Each room is separated by a wooden door. The tomb is made of fourteen red sandstone flat ribs, and 50,000 large blue bricks are used on the outside of the stone tomb to construct the straight walls on both sides of the tomb and the double-layered arches stacked on top. This architectural style of tandem arch structure withstands the main pressure of the tomb, making the entire tomb appear grand and spectacular.
