I'm truly impressed with the Mercure Hotels... I've stayed at three Mercure hotels in half a month... After my stays, I have nothing but respect for them I no longer want to stay at All Seasons or other budget hotels... If nothing goes wrong, I'll be happy to try Mercure wherever it's available - An average price of four to five hundred per night equals a fully smart home with a fully intelligent toilet (not the fake intelligence of just a heated seat like at All Seasons) + welcome fruits and a free minibar (some even include snacks) and a very decent breakfast Q! I don't know whether to say that Huazhu has opened its mind or that Accor has a great business There are also some hidden value-added services, and overall, the three hotels I stayed at were all very comfortable and satisfying But! There will definitely be individual differences between each hotel, not every one of them will offer fruits, nor can every one of them maintain consistent quality~ I've also seen experiences of people stepping on landmines at other Mercure hotels! After all, as budget hotels, there will inevitably be individual differences in staff training~ The first time I stayed in Nantong, I thought it was just a regular chain hotel for 330/night including breakfast for two. After checking in, they directly gave me a bag of three different kinds of fruits! At that moment, I was already criticizing the luxury hotel that only provided three apples for three thousand a night. I was even more surprised when I found the fully intelligent toilet in the room! Then I saw the free drinks in the minibar in the room (the Chengdu hotel even provided snacks), which completely won me over! The next day, I found the breakfast not only affordable but also unexpectedly good! The meals in the photos are all breakfasts I've had at Mercure. However, the subsequent stays in Chongqing and Chengdu did not include fruits, haha But in Chengdu, they gave an ice cream coupon and it was the only hotel that proactively offered tea upon entry and greeted with a smile every time! Especially the front desk lady, who also provided travel tips and recommendations around the hotel~ Although the service can't be said to be as warm as luxury brands, compared to similar types of hotels, I feel it's completely ok
