There are no steps, no excessive development, friends call it a wild mountain, but climbing up is still full of joy, thrilling and exciting. It is especially suitable for hiking with friends, team building, and parent-child hiking. Route 2 needs to pass through the campsite of Shangkouling, go up the mountain behind the campsite, we went up the mountain from the road next to Xiangyin Temple Mingxing Reservoir. We first climbed a shorter mountain, which has no name, and we don't know what mountain it is. From this mountain, we went down and then climbed up to Dahuang Mountain. The mountain road is steep. With previous climbing experience, we climbed up relatively easily. It was much more difficult to go down the mountain. The road was a bit damp and slippery. We had to find a good foothold for every step, otherwise we would fall. When we reached the foot of the mountain, the mountain opposite was Baima Mountain. Baima Mountain is all gentle slopes, and it is very easy to climb. It didn't take long to reach the top of the mountain. There is a paragliding base on the top of the mountain. It seems that it has not yet been opened. You can see the high-speed rail bridge in the distance from the top of the mountain. From time to time, high-speed trains whizzed past. It was already past 12 noon at this time. We enjoyed the scenery while eating the self-heating rice, snacks and fruits we brought. It was very comfortable. The downhill of Baima Mountain is also thrilling and exciting. When you go down to the foot of the mountain, it is Shangkouling campsite. Transportation: Self-driving route: You can take the No. 2 hiking route and directly navigate to the Shangkouling parking lot (free) Public transportation: Metro Line 1 - Walk from Tangxihe Park B Station to Tangxihe Park to transfer to Bus 308 (towards Zhongmiao) - Transfer to Urban and Rural Bus H104 (towards Urban Construction College) at Changlinhe Station Warm tips: a. Prepare a hiking stick or find a stick before climbing, so that it will be easier to climb up and down the mountain. b. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and thorn-resistant clothes. Most of the mountain climbing is on small roads, and there are many thorns that will tear the clothes. c. Bring your own lunch and water, you can't buy anything on the mountain. d. There are no toilets on the mountain. There are toilets next to Xiangyin Temple and Shangkouling Visitor Center. e. It is best to go with a companion, it is a bit scary to go alone. f. It is easy to go up the mountain and difficult to go down the mountain. Be careful when going down the mountain.
