Wow! Staying at The St. Regis Changsha - Every Photo Looks Amazing!

The St. Regis Changsha Hotel Review: A Perfect Blend of Luxury and Attentiveness I recently checked in at The St. Regis Changsha and had an amazing experience that I must share! The hotel is located at Yunda Central Plaza, 289 Shawan Road, Yuhua District, with convenient transportation and numerous dining options nearby, including Ben Luobo, and Tea Yan Yue Se on B1. 🏘️Room/Layout: I stayed in an upgraded Skyline View King Room through a corporate rate. The room layout was well-designed, spacious, and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered excellent high-rise views, and the oversized double bathtub paired with the view made evening baths incredibly relaxing. The TV supports screen casting, and they even help with food delivery - super convenient. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: Room cleanliness was impeccable with no issues. The latex pillow I requested through the app before check-in was already placed on the bed - perfect attention to detail. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: Thoughtful bathroom amenities included REN facial cleanser, Sachajuan shampoo and conditioner, and Sodashi body wash and lotion. While I wasn't fond of the body lotion's scent, the extensive amenity selection was impressive. The room came with 6 TWG tea bags and 3 Nespresso coffee capsules. The shower had excellent water pressure and temperature stability - full marks. The Dyson hairdryer was even better than the one at The St. Regis Zhuhai. Though the hotel's decor is vintage-styled, which some might find dated, it doesn't affect the comfort of the stay. 💗Other tips: 1. Concierge Service: Upon arrival, the concierge warmly opened our car door and delivered luggage directly to the room. When leaving, both the concierge and driver eagerly helped with luggage - exceptional service. 2. Check-in Experience: Loved the signature St. Regis seated check-in. When asking about customized room keys, they said they'd deliver them later, though Man Ge needs to be purchased separately for 198 yuan. 3. Room Service: The requested bubble bath was prepared on time. Though flower petals weren't initially included, after mentioning it to the butler, the housekeeping staff immediately apologized, and the butler manager brought a small gift as an apology. When I mentioned that the Zhuhai St. Regis butler remembered my vegetarian diet, the butler manager here immediately arranged special vegetarian breakfast options. 24-hour beverage service was also very prompt. 4. Executive Lounge: No executive lounge, but they provided two drink vouchers for evening cocktails. 5. Breakfast: The breakfast selection exceeded expectations! Local specialties included sugar-oil ba ba and clay pot soup. The egg station offered 3-4 choices including eggs Benedict. About 15 types of pastries, toast machine, fresh waffles and pancakes. 5-6 fresh juices, 6 western hot dishes, 2 types of porridge with 6 side dishes. Fresh noodles, 16 types of cereal with milk or yogurt options. 3 types of dim sum, 6-7 salads, 5 types each of cut and whole fruits, 5 cold dishes. Most impressively, milk came in adorable St. Regis logo bottles - I wanted to take one home for flowers. 6. Pool: The rooftop pool is nice. Though the view isn't comparable to Grand Hyatt and less lively than Wuyi Square, the St. Regis signature logo windows create great ambiance on rainy days. The sabrage ceremony is only available on weekends, which was slightly disappointing. Also, the room's stuffed animal was a gorilla, not the bear I expected, so I didn't take it. 7. Thoughtful Service: The hotel's attentiveness deserves special mention. Around 2 PM while at the W Hotel, the St. Regis butler called to ask about my arrival time and arranged to meet me in the W lobby to help with luggage and introductions - very hospitable. Also, kudos to the restaurant for preventing guests from dining in bathrobes! In conclusion, The St. Regis Changsha maintains the brand's excellent butler service with meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive facilities. Recommendation rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - absolutely worth staying!
