Feng Shui Treasure Land Yuelu Mountain

We are outdoor activity enthusiasts, and we must visit Yuelu Mountain when we come to Changsha, Hunan. Yuelu Mountain is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot, and it really lives up to its reputation. A friend drove us to Hunan University, which is an open campus without obvious boundary restrictions, so students, tourists and citizens gathered here, making it very bustling and lively. The south gate of Yuelu Mountain is easy to find. Passing by the statue of Chairman Mao, you can see the road leading up the mountain with snacks on both sides. Climbing is free and has no time limit. After entering the gate, walk to the right and you will reach the Aiwan Pavilion in about seven or eight minutes. This is a historical site, and many people come here to take photos and check in. Yuelu Academy, which was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty, has a history of more than a thousand years and is known as the "Millennium Academy". The ticket is 40 yuan. It is closed at 17:30 from November to April, so we were unable to catch up to visit. The ancient Yuelu Mountain Temple, known as "the first famous scenic spot in the Han and Wei dynasties and the first Taoist temple in Hunan and Xiangxi", has a history of more than 1,700 years. We climbed up the mountain steps, listening to the sound of gurgling water, and feeling "the old wind floats over the green stream, and the orchids sway in the sun. No one picks them all year long, and only I know the fragrance." There are many tombs of famous people such as Cai E and Huang Xing in Linnei, as well as many historical sites, making it a worthy Feng Shui treasure land. There is a snack bar near the top of the mountain. The owner works in the city from Monday to Friday, and hosts tea parties with friends on the mountain on weekends. His life is quite comfortable. He is talkative and friendly. He encourages children to climb to the top. When they return, the children specifically say goodbye to the boss: Uncle, I have climbed to the top of the mountain! Yuelu Mountain is not high, with an altitude of about 300 meters. It takes only about 40 minutes for adults to walk to the top. From the top, you can enjoy the night view of Changsha.
