June 25-28, a perfect three-day trip to Yibin This trip to Yibin was originally planned to visit many places... but unexpectedly, most of the time was spent at the homestay booked by my husband. However, the three places in Yibin worth visiting, the Bamboo Sea of Southern Shu, Lizhuang Ancient Town, and the Confluence of the Three Rivers, were not missed. 1. On the 25th, took the high-speed train to Yibin, then rented a car and drove for 50 minutes straight to the homestay, checked into the Yibin Changning Shushan Nan Guesthouse. 2. On the 26th, drove 20 minutes from the homestay to reach the Bamboo Sea of Southern Shu - the most beautiful bamboo forest in southern Sichuan - the filming location of 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'. Personally, I feel that visiting on a rainy day adds to the experience - since we drove ourselves, it was more convenient. We chose the Emerald Corridor, Xianyu Cave, Longyin Temple, and the glass walkway recommended by netizens. Returned to the homestay around 4 pm to rest. 3. On the 27th, chose the best-tasting noodles in the small town recommended by the homestay owner... then decided to go back to the homestay to lie flat and rest for a day - this was the most satisfying part of the trip... various stunning and very photogenic spots, no need to say more, just look at the pictures. 4. On the 28th, departed from the homestay - Lizhuang Ancient Town - Yibin Three Rivers Confluence, Guanying Ancient Street - returned the car and headed back.
