Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park, a forest park in the city

The predecessor of Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park was the first water purification plant in Changchun, built in 1932, commonly known as the 'Nanling Water Plant.' After its relocation in 2015, it left behind a rare resource in provincial capital cities nationwide—350,000 square meters of ecological green space, as well as an irreplaceable water purification industrial cultural site. Visiting here not only provides a cool respite during the hot summer, thanks to the abundance of trees, including century-old ones, but also allows you to discover many old buildings. The old houses with red-tiled walls stand out beautifully and uniquely amidst the concrete jungle. There's also a café here, offering a rare moment of tranquility and comfort in the quiet, cool woods.
