Luang Por Kuay, Wat Khositaram Originally named Wat Khwit or Wat Ban Kae It was recently changed to Wat Khositaram when Luang Por Kuay became the abbot. Luang Pu Kuay is another famous monk in Chainat. His amulets are widely revered and popular. To the south, next to the chapel, there is an old pond. It is believed to be a sacred pond because Luang Pu dug it and cast a spell there. The water in the pond is popularly used to make holy water and the soil is used to build Buddha statues. Every April 12th of every year is the annual merit-making day.
