Since its inception in 2013, Qube Gallery has positioned itself as a major player in the Philippine contemporary art community through its active physical and online exhibition programming, network links, and participation in international art fairs. Based in Cebu, the gallery is dedicated to advocating for its roster of emerging, mid career and established artists selected based on aesthetic vision aligned with the gallery. The aim is to promote Filipino artists beyond local archipelagic reach and to develop an international art dialogue by featuring foreign artists who have close affinity to the Philippines. I like that it gives a space to show off amazing local art and exhibits which are equally globally competitive. Almost every month you will be able to appreciate colors and paintings using different medium-for free. The gallery is neighbors with cafes. You can take a pick which kind of chilling you like. There is craft beer downstairs. As of this writing, i am not sure if craft beer is still open but do check out the area. You surely will have more optionss for drinks.
