Croatia Cavtat is a little gem

If you have 3 days in Dubrovnik, please include Cavtat in your itinery as well.Only 30 minutes away from Dubrovnik bus terminal by public bus no. 10. If you are currently planning your own Dubrovnik trip, I highly recommend staying in Cavtat, I returned the year after and stopped in Hotel Supetar for 2 incredible nights! Cavtat has a very pretty harbour filled with boats and palm trees, although small, it really is a joy to walk along! You can relax on one of the lovely terraces like I did or sit on a bench and watch the world go by! At the end of the waterfront is a trail and long coastal walk leading to several small beaches in Cavtat with natural pine tree shade and shockingly good views! When I set off on this easy 30-minute shaded walk, I had no idea where it would lead, but I soon came across pebbly beaches, a small bar and the clearest blue water – and the best thing was I pretty much had it all to myself- Cavtat is not over-crowded at all!
