Have a roar-some time, dinosaurs at the museum of Wales

The National Museum of Wales is a fantastic free day out for the whole family, located in the heart of Cardiff’s civic center. The museum is housed in a stunning building and houses both a natural history museum, art gallery and dedicated sections about the history of wales itself. The museum is famous for it’s large collection of dinosaur bones and life size models, I remember going so many times as a child - so it’s amazing to be able to come back and visit again. The natural history galleries are on the lower floors with the art galleries on the higher floors and through the extensions added to the back of the building. There is a nice cafe and gift shop in the main atrium where you can sit back and take in the stunning building around you.
