A very beautiful and old church

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Castellón (Region) The Church of Our Lady of Mitana is located in the Peñíscola Castle, which was built in the 18th century by order of the then Viceroy Sancho de Echevarría. It is attached to the castle and is located in front of the Plaza de Armas. It is a Latin cross temple with two side chapels, on the facade of which one can see the shield of King Philip V, and the carvings next to the gate are remarkable because they mention military details such as coats of arms, armor, flags, spears and cannonballs. Overall, it's a very nice place to spend some time, walk around the castle, take photos and have dinner in some cafe or restaurant.
