Canterbury is just 1-2 hours ride from London depending if you are going to ride a bus or train. The main attractions in Canterbury are mostly located within the High Street and is nearby the bus stop and train station. Among its must-see spots include The Canterbury Cathedral, Westgate Gardens, the Crooked House, and St. Agustine’s Abbey. Depending on your liking,there are a lot of shops,cafes,and things to do. Canterbury Cathedral is the one of the major spots for tourist. It is high and towering,and can be seen all over the city center. It somewhat serves as Canterbury’s piece (because it is!). Inside the cathedral is a display of the history of events and peole that shapes the cathedral. The place is so vast make sure you spare 1-2 hours of your time. On the edge of High Street is the Westgate Gardens which is another tourist favorite. Perfect for IG shoots because of its floral and river backdrop. You can also do punting in the river but make sure to make reservations ahead since the slots are limited. You can explore Canterbury in just one day but better to stay a little bit longer so that you can explore more of what the place can offer.
