This is a very attractive lake that borders Queenstown. There are many options for enjoying the including cruises, jet skis and paddle boarding, but be careful as the water is very cold and a thick wetsuit is recommended. Interestingly, there is a seiche that is a slow tidal wave that is sort of like a tide that raises and lowers the water level by 8 inches every 27 minutes. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway
