Hall of Memory: Located under a huge dome, this space features the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Roll of Honour, inscribed with the names of the fallen soldiers, creates a solemn atmosphere. Many visitors express their remembrance by placing red poppies. Museum Exhibition: From World War I to the recent Middle East deployment, various war records, artifacts, videos, weapons, and military uniforms from different eras are on display, allowing you to vividly experience Australia's military history. The space that recreates real fighter planes, tanks, and the inside of a submarine is also popular with children and families. Daily Last Post Ceremony: Every day at 4:45pm, a solemn ceremony is held to pay tribute to the fallen. A different soldier's story is introduced each day, and many people quietly listen and share their memories. It is free and open to everyone.
