Cairns

If you’ve never been to Cairns, you have to go! Far North Queensland can get very hot and sweaty at some times of the year but a recent trip there I found it very comfortable, nice and warm during the day, not too humid but a nice temperature at night to sleep well. The scenery is amazing, the seafood tastes amazing and the laidback lifestyle is refreshing. whether you want to sit around sipping cocktails, go scuba driving on the reef or go exploring in tbe rainforest, Cairns has something for everyone. With one of the 7 wonders of the world on your doorstep, the Great Barrier Reef is easily accessible by boat or helicopter from the marina. if you visit Cairns you have to experience the reefs, truly amazing and unbelievable once you get out there. The food is sensational with all tastes catered for, huge in Seafood but Asian, Greek, American all along the esplanade which is undergoing a transformation. Some great hotels around and everything in walking distance, I thoroughly recommend a visit. #seasidephotoguide
