Reaching Hemu Village was an adventure in itself. The long drive from Kanas took me through winding mountain roads, past rolling grasslands, crystal-clear rivers, and dense birch forests glowing in shades of gold and amber. As I arrived, the sight of wooden cabins scattered across the vast valley, with snow-capped peaks towering in the distance, made me feel like I had stepped into a fairy tale. The village, home to the Tuvan people, exuded a peaceful charm. Smoke curled from the chimneys of rustic wooden houses, and herds of cattle and horses roamed freely. The slow pace of life and the warmth of the locals made Hemu feel like a world away from modern civilization. One of the highlights of my visit was hiking up to the Hemu Observation Deck at sunrise. The climb was gentle, passing through frost-covered grasslands and autumn-colored forests. As the sun slowly rose, it cast a golden glow over the valley, illuminating the mist hovering above the Hemu River. Sitting by a warm fire, listening to the distant howls of wolves and the occasional neighing of horses, I felt an indescribable sense of wonder and peace.
