The Walt Disney Company Headquarters is a facility located in Burbank, California, USA, that serves as the center of Disney's management and production. Officially called "Walt Disney Studios," it is the production base for movies and television programs, and also serves as the headquarters for Disney as a whole. This headquarters has played an important role in Disney's growth. Disney originally had a studio in the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles, but moved to its current location in Burbank in 1939.
