🇹🇭 Travel in a spiritual way, Naga Cave, Pu U Lue Shrine, Bueng Kan

'Naka Cave' is located in Phu Langka National Park. It has beautiful and mysterious nature, including rocks in the cave that look like snake scales. ▪️Naka Cave is limited to 1,000 people per day. 496 people can book online and 504 people can walk in. The park opens at 7:00 a.m. When you arrive at the entrance, register and buy a ticket to enter the cave. During that time, the officer will ask about the group, whether there are children or elderly people, whether anyone has any illnesses, or whether anyone is overweight. Because going up the cave is quite strenuous, the local guide will be able to take care of and give advice. There were 8 of us in our group. Some of us were quite overweight and had shortness of breath. Some of us did not exercise much. So we decided to ask for 2 guides in case we could divide into groups of slow walkers and fast walkers during the cave (actually, if there were no more than 8 people, we could use only one guide). Before going up the cave, there was a place for us to pay respect and ask for permission to go up the cave, including praying for the cave to go smoothly. Then we set off. Our group was taken care of by Phi Mike and Phi Pai Wan. Along the way, they recommended various points, including points with stories, photo spots, and places to sit and rest. When we reached the highest point, the guide will go to get a queue card to enter the cave. Because there were so many people coming up, we had to organize the queue to prevent crowding in the cave. We sat waiting at this point for an hour before we could enter the cave. Luckily, Brother Mike provided mats so our group could rest while waiting. After entering the cave, we continued walking. This time, we went down into the cave. Along the way, there were many important places for us to stop at, including the Luang Pu Wang and Luang Pu Sao pagodas (we didn't stop at these two places because the weather was too hot for our group), Luang Pu Wang cave, where we will stop to ask for blessings and open our wallets to receive wealth, and then the first head, which can be considered the highlight of this place. At this point, there will be an officer to take pictures for us to speed up the process. ▪️ After going down into the cave, we went to pay homage to Grandfather U Lu on the island in the middle of the Bueng Khong Long pond, 'Don Pho Island', which is believed to be the entrance for the Naga. There is a statue of Grandfather U Lu there. We boarded the boat at the Wirunnaka pier. At the entrance, there are sets for worshiping Grandfather for sale. We can buy it from here. When we get to the pier on the island in the middle of the water before going inside, there will be a park officer's booth for us to pay the entrance fee to the officer and then walk inside. Don't be afraid that you won't be able to do the ceremony because the person who drove the boat to take us will give advice on what to do. After the blessing ceremony, we will travel back. How to go▪️We traveled by a van that we hired from Bangkok with friends. Most people who come here will bring their own cars or rent a car like us. Advice▪️Recommended clothing is mountain climbing clothing or breathable clothing because when we start walking, we will sweat and the weather is quite hot. Do not wear shorts above the knee.▪️Sneakers that fit well and absorb impact. If they are good climbing shoes, it is even better or shoes that cover the ankle a bit. It will help prevent our ankles from twisting.▪️Bring at least 2 small bottles of water (650 ml.) ▪️Buy rice or lunch in advance because we may have to wait in line for a long time and will not have the energy to walk down.▪️There are very few bathrooms and they are not very convenient.▪️Absolutely do not litter on the side of the road.
