Located about 60 km from the city, the entrance fee is around €3, making it a budget-friendly historical adventure. The ruins are impressively preserved, with remnants of Roman and Byzantine structures, including an amphitheater and city walls. Walking among these ancient stones, you really get a sense of the city’s past. The site is less crowded compared to other ancient ruins, offering a peaceful and immersive experience. Nearby, I enjoyed a visit to the town of Side, which has a lovely mix of beaches and more historical sites.
