Hope Valley is actually the most beautiful section of the Peak District National Park in the UK, with open valleys and large green fields along the way. To remind everyone: although the view is super beautiful, but climbing up definitely requires foot strength, some places are quite strenuous, it is recommended to give yourself mental preparation before hiking 🤣! 🌄 Two must-see attractions recommendation 1. Bamford Edge 📍Address: Ashopton Rd, Peak District National Park S33 0AD, England ⏰ Opening hours: year-round, all day This is the most classic photo spot in Hope Valley! Although it was really tiring to walk all the way up, but at the top you can see the entire Derwent Reservoir, Hope Valley, rock formations are very cool, photos without toning have been beautiful, especially at dusk the light and shadow changes are super healing! Tip: Don't rush the slope in a hurry. It is recommended to bring a windproof jacket + comfortable non-slip shoes, because the stone road is a bit slippery; you can find a rock to rest, replenish some water and snacks. 2. Derwent Valley Heritage Way Start Point 📍Address: Hope Valley S33 0AZ, United Kingdom A famous trailhead that connects many rural and natural landscapes, the flatter terrain is suitable for those who don't want to challenge the difficult but want to feel the scenery of the English valleys. Along the way you will see classic stone walls, sheep walks, and the chance to meet wild birds, smell the fresh grass, and definitely have a paradise feel! 🌱Walking tips & practical tips Although climbing Bamford Edge up will be tiring, especially when encountering strong winds or light rain to be more careful, but the view up is really worth it, again and again will not get tired of feeling. Keep the pace even, do not cheat on, slowly enjoy the scenery is king; it is not recommended to indulge in photography throughout the whole process, to give yourself more mobile-free moments, quietly breathe fresh air, more healing! 🧭 Transportation guide The most convenient way to get to Hope Valley is to take the train from Sheffield to Hope station, after exiting the station it is recommended to walk 15-20 minutes to the Derwent Valley Heritage Way departure point, then slowly walk towards Bamford Edge from there.
