They have been given Grade II listed status and Historic England has recognised their importance in this way. These four metal giants 🏗 are the largest objects in the M Shed collection, perhaps rivaling the Clifton Suspension Bridge 🌁 as the most photographed sight in the city! 📍Princes Wharf was the last freight wharf still in use before the terminal closed in 1977. The pier area is a good place for a stroll 🚶♂️, with leisurely and comfortable port scenery along the coast 🏞. 📍🚶♂️After walking out of M Shed, walk along the coast for about 10 minutes and you will arrive at another attraction - the SS Great Britain🚢. This is a steamship that was put into use in 1843. It once crossed the Atlantic Ocean to New York. It is now stationed on the shore as a museum to tell the story of the voyage. 📍This is a very nice pedestrian area🚶♂️, with lots of cafes☕️ and restaurants🍪 along the way.
