[Slovakia] Bratislava Castle overlooking Austria

Access: 20 minutes walk from Bratislava Old Town Recommended point: A high spot with a panoramic view of Bratislava's cityscape Shopping: Souvenir shops available As a building, it was rebuilt in the 20th century, so it does not have as much history as Prague Castle in the neighboring Czech Republic, but it is a great spot to look down on the Bratislava cityscape from the castle and across the river lined with windmills to Austria. Among the regular socialist buildings, there are modern buildings such as UFO towers and skyscrapers, which give a sense of the historical background, making it a highlight of the view.
