Bratislava Castle

Bratislava Castle in Slovakia. It is a huge rectangular castle with towers at each of its four corners, built on a rocky hill overlooking the Danube River that runs through the center of Bratislava. It is located in the center of the city, so it is easy to get to. The Gothic castle was built around the 10th century. When Bratislava became the capital of Hungary in the mid-16th century, Bratislava Castle, which became the royal residence, was remodeled in the Renaissance style.
