2024 Must-Visit Towns in the UK

I've always thought that towns are the most attractive places in the UK 🇬🇧. Maybe it's because I'm a tourist. Perhaps people who actually live there would find it boring, but for me, it's the perfect place to relieve stress. In 2024, which towns in the UK 🇬🇧 are must-visits in my opinion? 1️⃣ Cotswolds To be precise, this is a region known as the heart of England, with many unique towns. ✅ Bibury, home to Arlington Row, the postcard of the Cotswolds ✅ Broadway, home to Broadway Tower, which is on the cover of Lonely Planet's UK guide ✅ Bourton-on-the-Water/Upper and Lower Slaughter, where you can take a beautiful countryside walk If you're willing to explore, you can find more than a dozen towns with the same caramel-colored walls, each with its own unique charm. 2️⃣ Newbury Not far from the Cotswolds, this town has beautiful countryside scenery. Most importantly, Highclere Castle, the filming location for Downton Abbey, is located here. 3️⃣ Whitby An ancient fishing village in North Yorkshire, the birthplace of Dracula, Captain Cook's apprenticeship, the Temple of Time from Zelda, Whitby Abbey, the Gothic Festival, the best fish and chips in the UK... There are so many reasons to visit. If you have time, nearby Staithes, Scarborough, and even the filming location for the Hogwarts Express station in Harry Potter are worth a visit. 4️⃣ Tynemouth A town near Newcastle, famous for its beautiful coastline. Although all the towns in the UK with "mouth" in their name are great, this one is still the most worth visiting. 5️⃣ Alnwick A charming town in Northumberland, home to Alnwick Castle, one of the most important filming locations for Harry Potter, and Alnwick Garden, one of the most modern gardens in the world. 6️⃣ Eastbourne This town has the most sunshine in the UK, and the Seven Sisters Cliffs have almost become a symbol of British homes. The stunning scenery is even the first stop for many people visiting the UK. This is just a small part of the must-visit list, and it's concentrated in England. Maybe after visiting the UK, everyone will have their own must-visit list.
