Conquering Mount Pinatubo: A Challenge of Touch and Amazement

Climbing Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines is a journey that challenges both physical strength and will. In the early morning, we took a four-wheel drive vehicle to cross the rugged volcanic gravel terrain, with dust flying everywhere, and we were excited and nervous. After getting off the car, we started hiking, passing through dry riverbeds and magnificent volcanic landforms along the way. Every step was full of unknowns and surprises. After several hours of trekking, we finally reached the top of the mountain. The volcanic lake in front of us lay quietly in the crater like an emerald. The lake water was clear and blue, and the scenery was breathtaking. Standing on the top of the mountain, looking back at the rugged road we had walked, I felt a deep sense of touch and accomplishment in my heart.
