Join the Proboscis Monkey Tour in Borneo!

The main reason I went to Borneo was to see the proboscis monkeys! Proboscis monkeys are a type of long-tailed monkey with large noses, resembling a Tengu, and are only found on Borneo Island. I signed up for a tour in the city of Kota Kinabalu, and a van came to pick us up at the hotel. After about a two-hour drive, we arrived at a river surrounded by dense mangroves. First, we enjoyed some fruits and light snacks, and then we boarded a boat to search for the proboscis monkeys! Although we could only see them from a distance and it was difficult to take pictures, it was very exciting to spot wild proboscis monkeys✨ It seems that the shape and size of their noses differ between males and females. After returning, we enjoyed a Malaysian buffet and then set off again for a firefly tour! It was a tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the nature of Borneo🐒
