Sunny Beach: Boracay Tour

Boracay Island, located in the Philippines, is a world-famous resort with stunning white sand beaches and clear waters. This time I came to Boracay and spent three days and two nights, feeling the unique charm of this paradise island. Whether it is the beaches, natural scenery, local culture or food, I can't help but linger. Day 1: Arrive at Boracay and soak up the charm of the white sand beach My trip to Boracay started with arrival at the airport. Since Boracay does not have a direct large international airport, I first flew to Caticlan Airport and then took a short boat ride to Boracay Island. This boat trip is very short and full of fun. You can feel the sea breeze on the boat and look out at the blue sea and beautiful coastline, which makes you feel extremely happy. After arriving on the island, the first place I came to was the famous "White Beach". This 4-kilometer-long beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. The sand on the beach is as fine as powder, and it feels as soft as walking on cotton when you step on it. This white sand beach is surrounded by emerald green palm trees and blue waters, and the scenery is like a picture in a postcard. When I stood on the beach, feeling the cool sea breeze, I felt as if I had entered a dream world. In the afternoon, I relaxed in a cafe by the beach and tasted local fruit drinks. The refreshing taste instantly filled me with energy. The service attitude here is very friendly, and the staff communicated with me enthusiastically, making me feel the strong human touch. Day 2: Water Sports and Sunset Views The second day's itinerary was full of excitement and beauty. I woke up early to greet the famous sunrise of Boracay. The white sand beach is still quiet in the morning. The sun shines on the sea, reflecting golden light. The sea water sparkles like gems. This moment makes people feel incomparable tranquility and beauty. Such scenery makes me feel awe for every inch of this island. Afterwards, I participated in snorkeling, a very popular water activity in the area. The waters of Boracay are clear and transparent, and the corals and fish on the seabed are colorful. The snorkeling experience intoxicated me. When I dived into the water, I was surrounded by endless blue and colorful fish were swimming around me. It was like entering a magical underwater world. This feeling will stay with me for a long time. In the afternoon, I chose to take a traditional sailboat (Paraw) out to sea to experience the sea scenery of Boracay. This traditional boat has a long history of sailing across the blue sea as the sails catch the wind. The sea breeze gently caresses your cheeks, the scenery on the sea is breathtaking, the surrounding islands and the distant horizon all present a beautiful picture. In the evening, I went to White Beach to watch the famous sunset of Boracay. The sunset in Boracay is one of the most beautiful in the world. As the sun slowly sets in the west, the sky changes from golden yellow to orange-red to deep blue, and the bright light is reflected on the sea, which makes people hold their breath. Such a natural wonder brings unprecedented relaxation to the soul. Day 3: Slow down and enjoy local culture and food On my last day in Boracay, I chose to slow down and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the island. First, I strolled around the open-air market by the beach, where there were all kinds of handicrafts, souvenirs and local snacks. I tasted the local seafood specialties such as fresh crabs and shrimps, which were not only fresh and delicious but also reasonably priced, which made me devour them with relish. Next, I strolled through the island’s alleys, where there are many local restaurants and shops selling authentic Filipino food. There are also abundant local tropical fruits. I specially tasted the local mangoes, which have tender, sweet flesh and excellent taste. I then attended a local handicraft workshop and learned how to make traditional weavings and accessories. The local craftsman enthusiastically taught me how to weave. I felt the profound cultural heritage of Boracay and also gained some small souvenirs made by myself. Before leaving, I came to the white sand beach again, sat quietly on the beach, and reviewed the wonderful three days and two nights. Every scenery and every detail of Boracay deeply intoxicated me.
