Sayram Lake in March

The Sayram Lake is beautiful during the summer tourist season, but in winter, the blue ice surface and snow-capped mountains are picturesque with just a casual snap. It takes an hour and a half to get there from the downtown area of Yining, passing through Huocheng and the Guozigou Bridge along the way. During the off-peak season for tourism, the ticket price is half off, and there are not many tourists. You enter from the east gate of the scenic area and leave from the south gate. It takes about two hours to drive and walk through the scenic area. The stunning Swan Lake and the lighthouse are located in the latter half of this route. The weather in the city is over ten degrees, but it's still very cold inside the scenic spot. After taking photos for a while, my hands were so cold that I lost feeling in them. Friends who have come recently should still wear thicker clothes.
