🇮🇳 Mahabodhi Temple🛕 Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree

Buddha-gayā The Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, also known as the "Great Enlightenment Pagoda", was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. It is a must-visit place for Buddhists from all over the world. Generally, many tourists arrive at the temple at around 5 or 6 in the morning. No tickets are required to enter, but tourists are prohibited from bringing mobile phones or cameras inside. If you insist on bringing it in, you will have to pay extra. You have to queue up and go through security before entering, and you are required to keep your shoes on. The venue is very large and there are many tourists, so you may not be able to find your shoes when you walk around. It is recommended to carry your shoes with you in your bag! It is very solemn inside, and the Buddha reliefs in the temple park are astonishing and can only be understood but not described (if you take a good look at the photos, you will know how beautiful it is!). While walking around the pagoda, you will pass by the lighting area, the prostration area, the pond, the bodhi tree, the Vajrasana where the Buddha attained enlightenment, the ruins of the Buddha's footprints... and many other beautiful sights. I had purchased Buddha's robes the day before, waited in a long line, and finally entered the Mahavairocana Pagoda to pay homage to the golden body of Buddha. The magnetic field inside is extremely strong. It is the 25-year-old life-size statue that is closest to the real Buddha in history and has incredible blessing power. While worshiping the Buddha, I couldn't help crying (it is really hard to describe, please come and experience it for yourself). There is a staff member in the pagoda, you can give him a small tip and ask him to help offer the robes. You can also take the robes once worn by the Buddha and place them in your own Buddhist altar for worship! There is also a famous statue of Tara on the right wall outside the Mahavairocana Pagoda. According to legend, when Atisha came here to worship, he asked questions to Tara. The Tara statue actually spoke and instructed Atisha to go to Tibet to spread Buddhism, laying the foundation for the subsequent prosperity of Tibetan Buddhism. This is why Tibetan Buddhism particularly reveres Tara! #Dazhengjue Pagoda #Mahabodhi Temple #Bodhgaya #Mahabodhi Temple
