Dongsiri Buddhagaya

Dongkasiri Buddhagaya 🙏🌿💐 or Tungkasiri or Dukkiriya Mountain, the place where Prince Siddhattha practiced asceticism before he attained supreme enlightenment. The word Dukkiriya 🌱💐🌻 is a hard stone cave about 9 square meters in size. You have to walk up the Dongkasiri mountain. There is a Tibetan temple near the cave. You can see colorful Tibetan flags tied to long ropes. It is also a steep cliff face that cuts straight down. There is a door for people to enter. 🙏🙏🙏 Inside the Dongkasiri Cave is the Buddha image of the Bodhisattva in the posture of practicing asceticism. Sitting cross-legged, his body is thin and skin and bones are visible. The Buddha image is enshrined in the middle of the cave.
