The world famous Blackpool Tower

Standing at exactly half the height of the most famous tower in the world, the Eiffel Tower, Blackpools own landmark has seen many changes over the years. The seven story building below has housed a menagerie, an aquarium and several exhibits over the years. Despite the many changes some of the original exhibits still exist including the glamorous ballroom and the famous exhibit. The top of the tower itself has been transformed into the Blackpool tower eye, complete with a 4d cinema, yet despite the addition of the a glass floor, the attraction itself is almost the same as it was 130 years ago
