【Beppu Travel】A coffee shop you can visit alone, just a 9-minute walk from Beppu Station.

『Sunday Afternoon』 Beppu City, Oita Prefecture One day, I decided to take a spontaneous solo trip to Beppu𓃟𓂃𓂂𓏸◌. I had been wanting to visit this charmingly named shop, so I dropped by right as it opened. Although I drove there, it’s about a 9-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by a large wooden table 🌳, smaller tables in the back, and various wooden chairs of different shapes. There was even a coffee roaster. The menu was handwritten by the owner: ✤ Rare Cheesecake with Kawachi Bankan and Dekopon When I cut into it with a fork, I found large pieces of fruit inside 🍊. The slightly bitter Kawachi Bankan paired perfectly with the sweet Dekopon♡. It was absolutely delicious (◦ˉ ˘ ˉ◦). ✤ Coffee - Tanzania Since I’m not a fan of acidity, I opted for a dark roast ☕️. I had wanted to try the Cassata, but it wasn’t on the menu. When I mentioned it to the owner, they kindly offered me a small portion that was left. It was also incredibly tasty♡. The owner was very friendly, and we had a great conversation. They even recommended other cafes in Beppu. I’d love to visit again and take my time next time I’m in Beppu.
