We visited Blood Pond Hell and Sea Hell on a tour of the Hells of Beppu Onsen. We went on a weekday, but it was cherry blossom season so it seemed a little crowded. Next to Blood Pond Hell is Tornado Hell, and it's just a few minutes' walk from the nearest bus stop to the nearest bus stop to Sea Hell.
