Benidorm: A Sunny Surprise That Exceeded All Expectations

I recently visited Benidorm, and I have to say, it completely surprised me! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be such a clean, fun, and relaxing destination that I felt I had to share my experience. First of all, the beaches are absolutely gorgeous. Playa de Levante and Playa de Poniente are both stunning, with soft golden sand and crystal-clear water. What really impressed me was how spotless they were – you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping them clean. The water was so calm, perfect for swimming or just cooling off. Plus, there are tons of activities if you want something more exciting, like jet skiing or paddleboarding. Watching the sunrise from the beach was such a peaceful moment and one of my favorite memories. The weather, of course, was very good, any early morning cloud soon burt off as the day progressed. Definitely a great escape if you're coming from somewhere cold. The promenade along the beach is lovely to walk along, with lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants where you can stop and enjoy the views. What really stood out for me, though, was how much fun Benidorm is. There’s such a mix of things to do. The Old Town was charming, with cute little streets and plenty of authentic Spanish food to try. Then there’s the nightlife – whether you’re looking for a chilled drink or something more lively, you’ll find it. Honestly, Benidorm really surprised me.
