Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Castellón (Region) The Torre de São Vicente was built in the 16th century in Renaissance style and is part of a group of eighteen watchtowers that line the coast of today’s Castellón province. Its mission was to monitor and defend its coast. There are guides in the tower to explain the history, and there are audio-visual materials. It's in a very nice garden area to walk around and right next to the beach. There is a large promenade with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and hotels. The whole area has been renovated to make it the perfect place for a quiet walk. #February2025 #SpainTravel #Valencia
