Italy Milan - Lugano - Lake Como - Bellagio 114/2/12, 13 We took the high-speed train to the fashion capital Milan. On the first day, we booked a one-day tour to Lugano, Lake Como boat tour, Bellagio, and Como city. This was my favorite part of the entire Italy trip. These three places are incredibly beautiful and have a strong European feel, just as I imagined Europe to be. Lugano is located in Switzerland, bordering Italy. It uses Swiss Francs, which is about 1:0.94 to the Euro. You can pay in Euros, but they will give you change in Francs. It is a city with both urban landscapes and charming small-town scenery. We took a boat tour on Lake Como, passing by beautiful European-style villas along the shore. It is the third-largest lake in Italy, surrounded by the magnificent Alps. The lake water flows down from the mountains, and it has been a holiday destination for European nobility and the wealthy since ancient times. We saw light aircraft flying back and forth, and upon checking, we found out that you can take a flight to see the lake view, and it's not expensive. It's really attractive. Bellagio is a small town very similar to Jiufen, equally beautiful with healing scenery. The city of Como is less impressive, but we unexpectedly saw a statue commemorating the inventor of the battery, Volta. It turns out he was from here. Truly, traveling a thousand miles is better than reading a thousand books.
