One of the highlights of my journey was visiting the stunning **St. Sava Cathedral**, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. After exploring this spiritual marvel, I wandered over to the vibrant streets filled with local flavors. Belgrade’s food scene is a celebration of rich Balkan culture and offers a feast for all senses. I indulged in **cevapi**, the famous Serbian grilled meat dish, accompanied by **kajmak** (a creamy dairy spread) and **ajvar** (a flavorful roasted pepper and eggplant relish). The smoky flavor of the grilled meat mixed with the creamy kajmak created a perfect balance, and the fresh ajvar added a tangy twist that made every bite unforgettable. This meal alone captures the warmth and hospitality of Serbia, as it’s not just about the food but the stories, the culture, and the people who make every meal feel like a celebration.
