Day 11 of my 2025 jump rope challenge – a 45-year-old's journey.

🌄🌅 I'm back "patrolling the mountain" today. Now, I patrol once a week, much less than the two or three times a week in previous years. My body is still adapting. 🍃🍂 👣👟 I started climbing at 6:30 this morning and reached the summit in 38 minutes. Although it's five or six minutes slower than my previous average speed, I believe I'll get back in shape soon. 🏔🌄 🌤🌫 I checked in at the Tayun Pavilion on the peak again today. The air quality is still not very good, with a hazy view and a soft sun overhead. 🌫🌄 💨🧥 The mountain wind was strong this morning. If I didn't keep moving in the pavilion, I felt very cold, so I had to keep exercising to stay warm. 🔥💪 🌸🌼 The wild peach blossoms on the summit are already in bloom. Several peach trees look particularly beautiful. The summit gets more sunlight, so the peach blossoms here bloom earlier than those at the foot of the mountain. 🌳🌸 🌱🌳 The wild apricots next to the Tayun Pavilion are also sprouting. I guess it won't be long before the flower buds appear. Will I be able to eat wild apricots again in two or three months? 🌼🌱 🐱🐾 Because of the strong wind today, even the small animals are hiding. The stray cats I usually see are nowhere to be found, and there are fewer visitors, making it seem a bit deserted. 🏠🐾 📏🏃‍♂ I just climbed 2,209 stone steps to the summit. I'm not feeling very energetic, my calves are a bit stiff, and it's a little difficult to jump rope. 💪🧗‍♂ 🔥💦 I did four sets of 1,000 jumps each, for a total of 4,070. Although I wasn't in the best shape, I still completed the challenge. 🏆💪 😓😌 I'm definitely tired after jumping, and my muscles are sore, but I also feel very refreshed. There's always a special sense of satisfaction after exercising. 💧😌 🌄🌳 This is my second mountain patrol of 2025. I feel more adapted than last time, and my physical condition is gradually improving. 💪🌄 🍪🥤 Time for a break and a compressed biscuit to replenish my energy. Next, I'll continue down the mountain along the outer wall of Jingyi Garden. There's still a long way to go, but I've definitely had enough exercise for today. 👣🌳 🌅🌄 I'll be back next week to patrol the mountain and check in at the summit again. 📝🏔
