Cool transit experience at Beijing with Air China

#chinatransit I had a transit with Air China in Beijing from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur. There I realize many Chinese airlines other than Xiamen Air has started to provide free transit hotel for flights with a layover longer than 6 hours, including Air China. Totally lovely! Though it’s not easy to book the free transit hotel on the official website, trip.com customer service was crazily helpful and efficient in helping me do this (both trip and ctrip). One could utilize the layover to check out Forbidden city, Summer Palace, or simply to walk around the streets and arts museum, depending on the length of layover (and the location of free hotel).
