This winter holiday, take your kids on a trip to Beijing and discover the city's unmissable sights and delicious food. Day 2: Great Wall - Olympic Park Morning: Take Metro Line 2 to Jishuitan Station. Exit from Exit A and walk to Deshengmen West Bus Station. Take Bus 877 directly to the Great Wall. Alternatively, take a high-speed train from Beijing North Railway Station to the Great Wall. Once you arrive, you can choose to hike or take a cable car. We recommend taking the cable car up and down, and hiking from the North Seventh Tower to the North Eighth Tower to enjoy the magnificent views of the Great Wall. Great Wall Noon: Enjoy local specialties, such as lamb spine hot pot, at a restaurant near the Great Wall. Afternoon: Return to the city and head to Olympic Park to check out iconic buildings such as the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube and admire the charm of modern architecture. Attraction: Olympic Park Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant near Olympic Park and admire the brightly lit Olympic venues at night. Day 3: Summer Palace - Old Summer Palace - Return Morning: Visit the Summer Palace and explore Kunming Lake, the Long Corridor, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and other attractions. You can also take a boat ride on Kunming Lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Afternoon: Visit the Old Summer Palace and explore the ruins of the Old Summer Palace to experience the vicissitudes of history. Be sure to visit the Dashuifa and Haiyantang ruins.
