| Tiananmen Travel Guide for Seniors. I've always wanted to take my parents to Beijing, the capital of China. Finally, I made it this winter‼️ If you are also traveling with seniors, you may refer to this route📝 Transportation🚗 Subway🚇Tiananmen East Station, and you will see Tiananmen Square when you come out; however, there is often traffic control here, and you have to go around a big circle to get in⚠️ Tickets🎫 No tickets are required for Tiananmen Square, but you need to make a reservation in advance‼️But note that⚠️the reservation for Tiananmen Square is only for entering the square Tour route👣 Since I was traveling with seniors, the flag-raising ceremony was not included in the itinerary; our itinerary was: Square➡️Gate Tower➡️Memorial Hall➡️Forbidden City Tour time🕙 Due to traffic control, we entered the square at about 10:30 and left the Forbidden City at about 15:30; the tour time of the square is about 1-2 hours🕙 Tips💡 ▪️ If you have made a reservation for Tiananmen Square, you can only enter Tiananmen Square. If you want to visit the Gate Tower or Memorial Hall, you need to make a separate reservation‼️On the contrary, if you have made a reservation for the Gate Tower/Memorial Hall, you can enter Tiananmen Square without a reservation ▪️ Walk to the right when entering the square, and you will see the locker; if you have a backpack, you must store it first (including water bottles, power banks, etc.), because you cannot bring anything into the Memorial Hall, otherwise, it will be a waste of time and energy to go back to store your bag
