"Mountains and Lakes in One Building" Exhibition at China Garden Museum

🏮 The "Mountains and Lakes in One Building" exhibition is jointly organized by the China Garden Museum and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, with strong support from the China Building Culture Center. It is currently on display in the permanent exhibition area of the China Garden Museum. 🏮 The exhibition is divided into three sections: "Pavilions and Terraces," "Ingenious Borrowing," and "Emotional Resonance." It explores the forms and artistic conception of architectural gardens, with a focus on the garden architecture of the Ming and Qing dynasties as depicted in the book "The Craft of Gardens." 🏮 The exhibition showcases the diverse types and historical evolution of garden architecture, while also delving into the humanistic spirit and deeper meanings contained within the art of garden design. 🏮 The history of Chinese classical gardens can be traced back over 3,000 years, with a unique garden system developed over time. The magnificent scenery of nature has inspired painters and poets, while garden artists have skillfully incorporated these paintings and poetic imagery into the layout and design of gardens.
