Texture of Time: Moments of life and pauses are evoked.

The Year of the Dragon is over, and the Year of the Snake has begun. Every time we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, memories are evoked, and faded memories are activated by scenes. The powerlessness of reality inspires nostalgia for some beautiful moments in the past. Life is just a few vivid moments. The Belgian Contemporary Art Exhibition "Texture of Time" at Guardian Art Center evokes moments of life and pauses by displaying paintings, sculptures, installations, and other works by 16 Belgian artists. As a nomadic painter, François Médard captures a moment, a scene, and a trace from the wilderness to the tarmac with watercolors during his travels. Nicolas Kozakis breaks through existing conflicts through associations between materials, symbols, and images, drawing new reflections from history and gaining new statements and attention to objective things. Audrey Lo Bianco depicts the childhood world she lives in with a series of minimalist displays. Dominique Fornal, who loves to travel, fills his works with his inner world, his memories, emotions, and feelings, which are both lyrical and poetic, and are an ode to beauty and breath. Catherine Badiou was inspired by the beauty of nature and painted large canvases with floral themes. Dai Jinpu presents the relationship between man and nature in an abstract way, and his images give people a lasting sense of pleasure. Pierre Debaty's mixed media paintings are changeable and flamboyant, with rich textures and free-spirited images, using space as a source of inspiration. Michel Leonardi solidifies time with color. His paintings do not emphasize light and dark, light sources, and textures, and the ellipsoids of various colors become capsules of time.
