Beijing Park Hyatt Hotel Experience: Pros and Cons I recently stayed at the Beijing Park Hyatt Hotel. Here are my thoughts. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel was clean and tidy, including the rooms and public areas, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. Although soundproofing was not specifically mentioned, I was not disturbed by any noise during my stay, so I assume the soundproofing is good. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: I stayed in a China Zun View King Room, which is 45 m² and has an open-plan layout. The island design between the bathroom and bedroom is very unique and cleverly divides the space. The overall design is modern and minimalist, with a lot of light wood paneling, but it looks a bit old over time. The room has a great view, with a clear view of the CCTV Headquarters and China Zun. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The hotel was renovated in 2019 and is well maintained, although some of the hardware is old, it does not affect normal use. The public areas have a modern design style, and the lobby on the 63rd floor has a wide view, with a panoramic view of Beijing on a clear day. The art sculptures in the lobby add a strong artistic atmosphere. The gym and pool also have stunning city views, the pool is large, with bluestone tiles and two hot spring pools. 💰Average Cost: Around 200 per person, very cost-effective 💗Other Tips: The hotel is located in the core business district of the CBD, in the heart of Chaoyang District, with an extremely advantageous location. It is only a 3-minute walk to China World Mall, less than 4 km from SKP and Sanlitun business district, and less than 6 km from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, making it very convenient for business and leisure travel. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, with a wide variety of a la carte dishes that are delicious, and the "Black Truffle Pork Bun" and "Eggs Benedict" are worth a try. However, the selection of buffet dishes is relatively limited, with only one Chinese and one Western food station, and the dishes are relatively basic. The service level of the hotel is uneven. The housekeeping service is excellent, with timely delivery of items and the ability to meet guests' requests for extra amenities. However, the service at the concierge and front desk downstairs is poor. The concierge does not pay enough attention to guests, and there is no one to help with luggage, open car doors, or provide guidance when checking in and out; the front desk made a mistake by preparing a "Chang'an Street View Room" instead of a "China Zun View Room" as booked, and the initial solution did not take into account the guest's feelings, and only after the guest refused did they further process the request, resulting in the guest waiting for more than an hour to change rooms. After the guest service center received the guest's complaint, they apologized, but only offered two toiletry bags and promised to upgrade the room next time, which was not enough compensation. The Beijing Park Hyatt Hotel has a great location and view, but the service quality needs to be improved. I hope the hotel will pay attention to these issues and provide guests with a better stay experience.
