Beijing Olympic Park is located at No. 15 Beichen East Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, at the northern end of the central axis of Beijing. It is bordered by the south bank of the Qinghe River to the north, Beitucheng Road to the south, Anli Road and Beichen East Road to the east, and Lincui Road and Beichen West Road to the west. It covers a total area of 11.59 square kilometers and embodies the three concepts of "technology, green, and humanity." It is a new urban area that integrates multiple functions such as office, commerce, hotels, culture, sports, conferences, and residence. Beijing Olympic Park is divided into the north, central, and south areas from north to south. The north area is the Olympic Forest Park, the largest urban green landscape in Asia, and belongs to the ecological tourism and leisure area. The central area is a national-level venue and supporting facilities cluster, where the well-known Bird's Nest and Water Cube are located, and is also the area where major national political events are held. The south area is the Olympic Sports Center and the Olympic Sports Cultural and Business Park. The main attractions of Beijing Olympic Park include the Bird's Nest, Water Cube, and National Stadium. The Beijing Awards Plaza for the 2022 Winter Olympics is located in Beijing Olympic Park, where medals will be awarded to Winter Olympic athletes for 52 events over 14 consecutive days. On February 24, the Olympic Park "changed its outfit" to welcome the Beijing Winter Paralympics. On April 6, 2022, the central area of Beijing Olympic Park reopened to the public.
