Beijing City Walk Station 10: Mei Lanfang Memorial Museum. A true legend of the stage.

Located at No. 9 Huguosi Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, this is a simple and elegant two-entry siheyuan. This siheyuan was originally the stable of Prince Qing's Mansion in the late Qing Dynasty, and was later renovated into a residence. Master Mei Lanfang lived here from 1951 to 1961. ❤Recommended reason: Two persimmon trees and two crabapple trees in the courtyard, four corner buildings with plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum, two side rooms with Magu presenting birthday gifts and fairies scattering flowers, Mr. Mei is a man of virtue and art.
