Beijing Trip 29: Pray for Blessings at Badachu Park.

🌟Highlights: - Badachu Park is a park with eight Buddhist temples and monasteries located in the Western Hills of Beijing. The temples and monasteries were first built during the late Sui and early Tang dynasties, and were expanded during the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The park is a famous scenic spot and Buddhist activity site in the western suburbs of Beijing. - The eight temples and monasteries are Chang'an Temple, Lingguang Temple, Sanshan Nunnery, Dabei Temple, Longwang Hall, Xiangjie Temple, Baozhu Cave, and Zhengguo Temple. The first and second temples are at the foot of the mountain, the third temple is on the mountain, the fourth, fifth, and sixth temples are halfway up the mountain, the seventh temple is on the top of the mountain, and the eighth temple is on the mountain opposite the other seven temples. - You can pray for blessings, climb the mountain, and enjoy the beautiful scenery at Badachu Park. You can see many families climbing the mountain and praying for blessings. - Ping'an Temple and Lingguang Temple are currently closed. We first climbed Lushi Mountain to Zhengguo Temple, and then went to Sanshan Nunnery, Dabei Temple, and Longquan Nunnery (Longwang Hall) in turn. We didn't climb to the top of the mountain, so we didn't go to the sixth and seventh temples. 📍Address: Sitai Village, Shijingshan District, Beijing 🚉Transportation: Take bus 215 in Beijing and get off at Badachu Station. If you drive, navigate to Badachu Parking Lot. There are plenty of parking spaces. 📝Tips: There is no cableway to Zhengguo Temple, so you have to climb the mountain. You can choose to walk up the mountain and take the cableway down, or take the cableway up the mountain and walk down.
