2-10: Mei Lanfang's Former Residence: Located at No. 9, Huguo Temple Street, it is a 7th batch national key cultural relic protection unit, a modern and contemporary important historical site and representative building, 1951-1961. The gate is located in the southeast corner of the courtyard, with a single barbarian gate. The main house is connected to the east and west wing rooms by a flat-roofed corridor. There is a moon gate on the east and west sides of the courtyard wall of the flat-roofed corridor. There are three rooms in the east and west wing rooms of the courtyard, with a corridor in front, a ridge roof, and a water shed on both sides. There are seven rooms behind the main house. The two houses in the west of the courtyard are connected into one, with a total of six rooms. It was opened as the Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall in 1985. The ticket price is CNY 10. ————- 11-20: Guo Moruo's Former Residence: Located at No. 18, Qianhai West Street, it is a 3rd batch national key cultural relic protection unit, a modern and contemporary important historical site and representative building, 1963-1978. This was originally the former residence of He Shen during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. During the Xianfeng and Tongzhi periods, it was used as the horse number of Prince Gong Yikou. During the Republic of China, the descendants of Prince Gong once sold it to the Lejia Pharmacy as a residence. The current former residence is a large-scale quadrangle courtyard. There are five rooms in the patio inside the second door, which are Guo Moruo's reception room and studio, and the bedroom is on the east side. There are eleven rooms in the backyard, which are the painting and calligraphy room and bedroom of Guo Moruo's wife Yu Liqun. The ticket price for Guo Moruo's Former Residence is CNY 20. Compared with the joint ticket of Beihai Park and Tuan City, which is a national first-class site, it is really not worth it.
