The Lantern Festival at the Expo Park is a grand event that combines visual, cultural, and food experiences. The Lantern Festival will be held at the Expo Park from September 14 to October 31, 2024. The theme of this Lantern Festival is "Interweaving of Light and Shadow, Beijing Night Dream". Nearly 200 creative lantern groups are on display, covering nine major theme exhibition areas, including Festival Songs, Beijing Color Avenue, Splendid Mountains and Rivers, Colorful Children's Dreams, Beijing Opera, Glorious China, Phoenix Dance Nine Days and Beijing Color Life Gathering. One of the highlights of the Lantern Festival is the Welcome Gate, which is located at the entrance of the Lantern Festival No. 3. It is themed with traditional lanterns. The largest diameter of a single lantern is 15 meters. The lantern group is nearly 100 meters long, 25 meters high, and weighs 50 tons. It provides tourists with a spectacular entrance experience. Walking into the Expo Park to see the lanterns, because it was the first time I came here, and it was night, I felt that this place was too big, and I didn't have any idea where to start, so I had to walk and ask, and I couldn't understand it.
